What is Hydraulic Screen

Hydraulic Screen, also known as hydraulic wedge screen, arc screen, or sieve bend screen, is a small, non-powered separation device widely used in wastewater treatment.

Sieve Bend Screen

The wastewater to be treated is evenly distributed onto the arc-shaped screen surface through the water distribution device on top of the equipment. Solid particles are retained, and the filtered water flows out through the gaps in the screen plate. Meanwhile, under the hydraulic force, the solid particles are pushed to the lower end of the screen plate and discharged, thus achieving the purpose of solid-liquid separation.

The main structure of the hydraulic screen is typically made of stainless steel. The stainless steel mesh, due to its excellent corrosion resistance, is suitable for water with significant variations in pH levels.

The body of the hydraulic screen is made of stainless steel arc-shaped screens with wedge-shaped screen bars. The surface is smooth and even, with small gaps on the screen surface and larger gaps on the back, ensuring smooth drainage and minimizing the risk of clogging. The screen frame is designed with reinforcement ribs to effectively resist water flow impact and extend the service life.
