What is a Filter Press
A filter press can be classified into plate-and-frame filter presses and chamber filter presses. It is a type of intermittent pressure filtration equipment used for solid-liquid separation in various suspensions.
It works by using a pressing device to compress the filter plates, then pumping the suspension into the filter chamber, where the filter cloth separates the solid particles from the liquid. The machine features a simple structure, effective separation, easy operation, and wide applicability.
Types
01. Hydraulic Automatic Pressure Holding Filter Press
The hydraulic automatic pressure holding filter press uses an electric contact pressure gauge to automatically maintain pressure. It offers convenient operation, stable performance, reliable structure, and is suitable for large filtration areas.
02. Membrane Filter Press
The key difference between a membrane filter press and a conventional chamber filter press is the addition of an elastic diaphragm between the filter plate and the filter cloth.
03. Mobile Filter Press
This mobile filter press is specifically designed for small-scale and pilot-scale laboratory experiments. It offers two types of pressing methods: gas (air or inert gas) pressing and liquid (water or oil) pressing, meeting the needs of various industries.
04. Belt Filter Press
The belt filter press, also known as a belt sludge dewatering machine, is primarily used for dewatering residual sludge from biochemical and physicochemical wastewater treatment processes, reducing its volume for further disposal such as landfilling or incineration.
