Project Implementation

When the shallow sand filter system is in filtration mode, pressurized water flows into the water distribution system from the filter tank inlet and evenly reaches the filter media layer. As the water flows through the filter media layer, suspended solids are retained by the filter media.

This project’s dry coke quenching and power generation cooling water system is equipped with 1 set of filtration equipment with a total filtration capacity of 375 m³/h, consisting of 8 filtration units.

When one of the filtration units is in backwash mode, its inlet is closed, and the drainage outlet is opened, ensuring that the system water supply is maintained at a fixed flow rate.

In the cooling water system, impurities and solid suspended solids generated during the production and research process need to be filtered to ensure stable and efficient operation of the circulation system. By installing a shallow sand filter in the bypass filtration system, the amount of circulating water discharge can be greatly reduced, preventing pipeline sludge clogging, and helping customers achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, and reduced operating costs.

Through this successful cooperation, our products have been highly recognized by the user. We are currently involved in selecting, supplying, and operating multiple retrofitting projects.
