The client operates a sugar manufacturing plant in Zimbabwe. They had a mature process design in place and specifically required a vibrating screen for their syrup production line.

Based on long-term supply experience in the sugar industry, we first provided objective technical insights:
 
Since syrup features both high viscosity and high concentration, pressure-driven filtration is needed to achieve sufficient separation efficiency. For this scenario, bag filters or a combination of self-cleaning filters + bag filters are the conventional, higher-efficiency solution. Vibrating screens deliver relatively low efficiency when handling viscous, concentrated materials.

Solution Iteration to Match Budget

 
The client confirmed they had their own established process design and still decided to proceed with a vibrating screen.
 
To handle the 100 t/h large capacity reliably, we initially recommended a linear vibrating screen as a performance-first conservative option. The client, however, noted this solution exceeded their budget.
After the client updated their requirements, we finalized the optimized configuration:
 
2 units of Model 2000 single-deck circular vibrating screen machine, SS304 stainless steel
  • Power supply: 550V, 50Hz, 3-phase
  • Screening mesh: 100 mesh
  • Spare parts: 10 pieces of spare screen meshes
  • Function: Removes 30–50 ppm suspended solids downstream of the Talo clarifier
