Check the piping and connections Before operation, inspect all inlet and outlet pipelines and connections for any leaks or blockages. Ensure that the pipelines, filter plates, and filter cloths are clean, and confirm that the feed pump and all valves are functioning properly.
Check the machine components Inspect the frame, bolts, and nuts for any looseness and tighten them if necessary. All moving parts must be well lubricated at all times. Check whether the oil level in the reducer and the oil cups is sufficient, and confirm that the motor operates normally in both forward and reverse directions.
(2) Preparation for Filtration
Start-up procedure Connect the external power supply, press the reverse button on the control panel to move the hydraulic head (moving plate) backward to a suitable position, then press the stop button.
Install the filter cloth Hang clean filter cloths on both sides of each filter plate, aligning the feed ports accurately. The filter cloth should be slightly larger than the sealing surface of the filter plate, and the cloth holes must not be larger than the plate holes. Smooth out any wrinkles to prevent leakage. The filter plates and frames must be arranged neatly and in the correct order, especially for washing-type filtration.
Tighten the filter plates Press the forward button on the control panel to move the hydraulic head forward and press the filter plates tightly together. When the current reaches the specified level, press the stop button to complete the clamping process.
