I. Introduction

The Rotary Mechanical Bar Screen is a specialized water treatment device that continuously and automatically intercepts and removes various debris in fluid. It finds extensive applications in urban sewage treatment, water supply industries, power plant inlets, and can also serve as a primary screening device in wastewater treatment processes for industries like textiles, food processing, papermaking, leather, etc. It is one of the most advanced solid-liquid screening devices in China and is also known as the Bar Screen.

II. Working Principle:

The Rotary Mechanical Bar Screen is mainly composed of a drive device, rake mechanism, etc., with a unique set of rake teeth assembled into a rotating bar screen chain. Driven by the motor reducer, the rake teeth chain performs a reverse water flow direction rotation.

As the rake teeth chain rotates to the upper part of the equipment, due to the guidance of the groove wheel and curved track, there is a relative self-cleaning motion between each set of rake teeth, causing the majority of solid substances to fall by gravity. Another part relies on the reverse movement of the cleaner to sweep off the debris adhering to the rake teeth.

The rake clearance assembled on the rake teeth chain shaft can be selected according to usage conditions. After the rake teeth separate the solid suspended matter in the fluid, it ensures smooth water flow. The entire working process is continuous and can also be intermittent.

III. Product Features:

The equipment's major advantages include high automation, high separation efficiency, low power consumption, no noise, and good corrosion resistance. It can ensure continuous and stable operation without supervision and is equipped with overload safety protection. In case of equipment failure, it produces audio-visual alarms and automatically stops to prevent equipment overload.

This equipment can adjust the operational intervals as needed, achieve periodic operation based on the difference in water levels before and after the bar screen, and has manual control for easy maintenance. Users can choose according to different operational needs.

Due to the rational design of the equipment structure, it possesses strong self-cleaning capabilities during operation, preventing clogging. Hence, the daily maintenance workload is minimal.

IV. Technical Parameters and Equipment Selection Table:

The equipment specifications are divided into HG300-1500 based on the machine width. If the machine width exceeds 1500mm, parallel machines are used. The bar clearances come in various specifications like 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, etc. The selection of the bar clearance depends on the water flow rate, lifting height, total solid-liquid separation, and the shape and particle size of the separated substances.

Users can choose rake teeth made of ABS engineering plastic, nylon, or stainless steel according to their needs. The main frame has two materials: stainless steel and carbon steel for anti-corrosion.
