Types of Filter Elements II
- Titanium Rod Filter Element
Titanium rod filter elements possess excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, heat resistance, high strength, assured filtration accuracy, and easy regeneration. The titanium filter element is formed and sintered at high temperatures from titanium powder, preventing surface particles from easily falling off. It can be used at temperatures up to 500-600°C in air.
It is mainly suitable for filtering corrosive media, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nickel hydroxide, seawater, fluoride solutions of iron, copper, sodium, etc. It has good physical properties and can be machined and welded. It has high compressive strength, with gas pressure damage resistance up to 2MPa. Its filtration accuracy is easy to ensure, and it does not deform even under ultra-high pressure and high temperatures.
The porosity rate can reach 35-45%, with uniform pore distribution, high contaminant holding capacity, and simple regeneration methods, allowing for repeated use after regeneration.
- RO Reverse Osmosis Filter Element
This filter uses RO reverse osmosis membrane elements. The principle of reverse osmosis (RO) technology: Reverse osmosis is abbreviated as RO. The principle of reverse osmosis is to apply a pressure greater than the natural osmotic pressure on the side of the contaminated water, causing the water to reverse osmosis from the higher concentration side to the lower concentration side.
Because the diameter of the reverse osmosis membrane is hundreds to thousands of times smaller than viruses and bacteria, various viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, dissolved solids, organic pollutants, and chlorates cannot pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, achieving the goal of water purification and filtration.
