Precautions for Using a Cartridge Filter:

Inspection Before Use: Before using the filter, ensure that the equipment is intact and undamaged, and that all components and seals are secure. Assemble according to the specified requirements.
Initial Cleaning: Before first use, thoroughly clean the new filter with a cleaning agent. After cleaning, sterilize it at high temperature, and then properly seal it to prevent contamination.
Filter Cartridge Installation: Ensure the filter cartridge is installed in the correct orientation; typically, the flow direction is from outside to inside.
Handling of Filter Cartridges: Filter cartridges are delicate; avoid tearing the plastic packaging when not in use. For users with high filter integrity requirements, test the bubble point of the cartridge before use to ensure its integrity, followed by sterilization.
Insertion of Filter Cartridges: When inserting the filter cartridge, maintain a vertical position. Before insertion, moisten the sealing ring with sterile water or filtered liquid to reduce resistance.
Ventilation: Open the air vent on top of the filter to allow the filtered liquid to fill the filter housing, which enhances the filtering effect.
Cleaning: Always clean the filter cartridge with sterile water to prevent contamination. For backwashing, reverse the direction of flow (the original inlet becomes the outlet) using sterile water. Ensure the original filter pipeline is closed during this process. Open the drain valve and continue until the filtrate is clear.
Operating Pressure: During filtration, the operating pressure should generally be around 0.1 Mpa, and should never exceed 0.5 Mpa.
