Vibrating Screen Working Principle

Working Principle

The vibrating screen equipment uses a vibrating motor as the vibration source. Through the vibrating force, materials are screened on the screen mesh. The excitation force generated by the vibrating motor causes the screen box to produce periodic vibrations, making the materials continuously roll on the screen mesh.

Larger materials are intercepted by the mesh holes, while smaller materials pass through the holes and fall into the discharge port below, achieving material screening and grading. It is generally used in production lines to achieve automated operations, with screening capabilities up to 500 mesh. The screen can be layered, with conventional layers ranging from 1 to 5.

The vibrating screen has a very high screening efficiency and industry-leading precision, with a screening efficiency of over 99%. It can meet the screening requirements of various particulate materials. During operation, the vibrating screen also has excellent self-cleaning capabilities to prevent materials from adhering to the screen surface and affecting screening efficiency. This is one of the reasons for its wide application in various industries.
