Introduction

The rotary drum-type mechanical bar screen, also known as a fine bar filter or spiral bar screen machine, is a device that combines a fine bar screen debris removal machine, a bar screen spiral lift conveyor, and a bar screen spiral press machine.

It is widely used in urban sewage treatment plants, industrial wastewater treatment projects for solid-liquid separation, sludge filtration, cleaning, transportation, and press dewatering.

Functions (Five Zones)

The rotary drum bar screen debris removal machine is installed in the water channel at an angle of 35° to the horizontal plane. Wastewater flows into the drum from the end of the drum, and water flows out through the gaps in the bar screen. Solid waste is filtered in the basket of the bar screen. The cleaning arm with teeth moves in a circular motion to clean the gaps in the bar screen. The teeth of the rake extend into the bar screen, extracting solid waste. Unlike an internal inflow bar screen, when the cleaning arm is at the highest point, the garbage is removed from the teeth by water flushing and the action of the debris baffle. The garbage falls into the spiral conveyor bucket of the garbage collection device. During the conveying process, it is dewatered by the variable pitch and squeezed dry in the compression zone at the top. The squeezed water is returned to the water channel, and the garbage is finally sent to the container or subsequent equipment for further processing.

The gap between the mesh cylinders is fixed, ensuring thorough debris removal and overcoming the defects of the conventional rake-type bar screen with movable clearances. The debris removal efficiency is above 98%.
The spiral blades are made of stainless steel, gradually decreasing in pitch from bottom to top, enhancing pressing capability.
The control cabinet can be equipped with a PLC remote control interface, and the electrical control box adopts a carbon steel anti-corrosion or stainless steel shell, suitable for outdoor rain protection.
